The U. S. Coast Guard Auxiliary is the volunteer, civilian component of the United States Coast Guard. We are tasked, by Federal Law, to develop and promote Recreational Boating Safety. As volunteers, we do it because we want to (not have to) and we have an desire to help our community by passing along our personal knowledge and experience.

The Coast Guard Auxiliary, 8th District Coastal Region, Flotilla 51, Joe Pool Lake TX provides Public Education, Vessel Safety Checks (non-enforcement safety inspections) and Safety Patrols in the Lake Joe Pool TX area. Joe Pool Lake is a 7500 (surface) acre lake and is located in Dallas, Ellis and Tarrant Counties in the southern Dallas / Fort Worth TX area.
